The Designer

I am a simple Montana girl living in the charming South.  I love working with my hands, being creative, and all things that make a girl feel good about herself.  On any given day you can find me chasing my girls around our yard, trying my hand at a new recipe, volunteering, building a new project out of wood or designing and creating jewelry.  Like all women I wear many hats.

At this point its no surprise that I love jewelry and always have.  What girl doesn't?!  Whether its a brilliant engagement ring, a pair of show stopping statement earrings or a sweet mothers necklace that makes your heart melt, each piece of jewelry is tied to an emotion.

The Name

I met my handsome husband the first week of my freshman year at Montana State University and the rest is history, so they say! After graduating  we moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, got married and now have two amazing and silly little girls, Madison Mackenzie and Lillian Harper.  They are interested in everything mommy and daddy do so naturally they were drawn to jewelry.  Though their sweet little fingers can hardly hold the tiny beads they still love to help me.  We are proudly teaching them to be entrepreneurs and artists from the beginning.   I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work along side my husband, with my babies at my feet, to be surrounded by beautiful materials and be creative everyday.   It nurtures and feeds my heart. I hope you enjoy.

The Jewelry

Mackenzie Harper stones and materials are always changing depending on the colors of the season and where inspiration strikes.  We design and create all of our jewelry in Chattanooga, TN though our materials come from around the world.  All of our jewelry is handmade and therefore no two pieces are exactly the same.

Besides being pretty I also find jewelry history interesting;  Where did each stone come from, how did the earth create them and what makes them each so special and valuable.  I am always learning and will pass the knowledge along to you. Check out the blog.
